Valentines Day

Dave is always very thoughtful when it comes to holidays. He loves to spoil me! Yesterday I woke up to sticky notes all around the house with cute little messages. Then during lunch Dave came home and brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. He even remembered that calla lilies are my favorite flower!

When Dave came home at the end of the day he brought a pizza (so I didn’t have to cook dinner), cupcake chic cupcakes, and almond milk (I LOVE almond milk but I never buy it for myself because Dave won’t drink it and it is expensive)!

I am so grateful for a thoughtful husband! This was the best Valentines Day ever!

HGTV Dream Home

My favorite television network is HGTV. I love watching home improvement shows and the beautiful transformations!

Each year HGTV gives away a dream home, and this year the dream home just happens to be in Midway, Utah. Although the chances of winning this beautiful home are slim, I love dreaming about winning.

My mother-in-law, grandma-in-law, Madison and I went to tour the dream home a couple weeks ago and it was fabulous! Everything was high-end and beautiful. I am crossing my fingers to see if I will win!

I very much enjoyed the afternoon with three of my favorite people. I took some pictures, but if you want to see better pictures go to HGTV.com.

Christmas 2011

This past Christmas was wonderful! We enjoyed spending time with both sides of our families and opening presents with the Hinckley's on Christmas day.

Some of the highlights of the Christmas season were:

Going to the Dickens Festival with Papa and Nana
Talking to Bryant on Christmas day
Eating Christmas Eve breakfast with the Taylor's and the Hinckley's
Going to church on Christmas day
Getting Madison's picture taken with Santa Claus
Attending the annual Orton white elephant exchange
Madison loved to look at all the lights and destroy ornaments on Christmas trees
We also had a not-so-fun memory on a Christmas cruise on the Provo River. Madison was so cold and screamed the entire time. We couldn't wait for the cruise to end.
Making treats to give to friends and family
Eating delicious food (especially the eggnog cupcakes from cupcake chic)

It was so fun to celebrate Madison's first Christmas. She got lots of attention and enjoyed every minute of it. We are grateful for the birth of our Savior and for the great example he was to all of us. Enjoy these fun pictures!

Family Pictures

In the middle of December, Krista took some family pictures for us. They turned out great! Here are a few of our favorites:
