In September Dave and I got to go to
Puyallup to spend time with his family, and I got to use the birthday present Dave got me.
It was the best birthday present I have ever received; Dave got me Wicked tickets!!!
I had wanted to see Wicked for years and my wish finally came true!

Dave tried to get me tickets for Wicked when it came to
Utah, but the Theater’s website crashed when he tried to purchase the tickets.
The poor guy spent hours trying to get back on the website and calling the theater on the phone (He is so great!).
I was a little bummed but Dave secretly had his mom get tickets for Wicked while it was in
Seattle.
So when my birthday rolled around, I was surprised and ecstatic to receive not only Wicked tickets, but a wonderful trip to
Puyallup and
Seattle.
We had a wonderful time while we were in Puyallup. The day after we got there we went to the Puyallup Fair. That was quite the experience for me; it was first fair I have ever attended. We had fun walking around looking at animals…
over-sized pumpkins..
and Lego creations.
I also had my first experience with fair food. All the food was good tasting but not so good for the waist line. I especially enjoyed the elephant ears (gigantic scones).
Thanks mom and dad for taking us to the fair!
The next night, Dave and I took the train into Seattle to go see the play. Before the play we went to dinner with my good friend Nate Nef and his girlfriend Lacey. We had great time getting to know Lacey and catching up with Nate.
After dinner was the moment I was waiting for!
We went to the play with Dad and Grandma Ruby. All I can say about Wicked was that it was spectacular! The cast was great and I loved listening to the familiar music. The play was everything I expected and more. There was even one point in the show when I got emotional (Nothing new for me ;))
Thank you so much Dave for the wonderful evening!

The rest of our time in Seattle was spent relaxing, spending time with family, and helping Mom cater a wedding luncheon. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you, Mom and Dad for being so accommodating while we stayed with you. We love you!
