9 Months Old

Madison turned nine months on December 1st. I can’t believe that nine months have flown by! She has both Dave and I wrapped around her finger. In fact she has all of her family and young women in our ward wrapped around her finger. She is so fun and has a huge personality! There are many things that Madison does/loves right now.

Around 8 months she started standing without any support. Now she loves to pull herself up to standing position, and then clap her hands. She is so proud of herself.

She points at EVERYTHING! Someday we will have to teach her that it isn’t polite but for right now it is so cute!

She growls all the time! We think she picked it up from her daddy. She growls in satisfaction, she growls in acknowledgement, she growls to say hi; it works for pretty much anything!

She loves vacuums, brooms, washers/dryers, cupboards, and drawers. I think she will be mommy’s little helper someday; unfortunately it is more of a hindrance right now.

She loves to clap! When I start to sing “If your happy and you know it clap your hands”, she claps! She is so cute and so smart.

She loves bears! She has a bear that lights up her face when she sees it. She also loves to tackle and growl at her bear.

She loves to blow raspberries! She also will brush her hand over her lips to make funny noises.

She is starting to learn how to blow kisses. We blow kisses to Uncle Bryant’s picture (He is on a mission in Brazil) every night. (She also loves to point at Uncle Bryant every time we pass his picture.)

Like all babies she likes to play peak-a-boo. Her favorite way to play is to lay flat on a blanket until someone says “where is Madison?” Then she will pop up her head and laugh.

She loves to watch Brainy Baby, especially with her daddy. She will snuggle up on daddy’s lap and watch almost the whole episode.

She is starting to “dance”. She sways and bounces when she hears music.

She loves to look at pictures and videos of herself. Sometimes she goes crazy and the only thing that will calm her down is to flip through pictures of herself on mommy or daddy’s phone. She is such a narcissist!

She loves to be active and going all the time!! She never likes to sit still.

Cuteness!

I always have random pictures that don't coincide with any particular blog post. Enjoy these fun pictures of our cute girl!

This is what improvising looks like after blowing out of two outfits.

Madison's First Halloween

Dave and I never really do anything for Halloween; we don’t usually go to parties or dress up, but now that we have Madison we will have to be more involved in ALL holidays. For Madison’s first Halloween she was a monkey. She looked so cute! Here are some fun pictures:

Wolf Creek

The end of October we went to Wolf Creek a couple weekends in a row. The first weekend we went for Alison’s spring break. It was a beautiful weekend! We played tennis, went on a hike and hung out like always. Madison really enjoyed being outside and hanging with my family.

The next weekend we had an Eppich gathering for all the college aged kids in Utah. The best thing about the trip was that Madison got to be around little kids. My cousin Ryan has three little kids that Madison adored! She chased them all around the condo. We also played Racquetball and ate lots of food. It is fun to renew our friendships with the cousins we don’t see very often. I am so grateful for family.

Madison's First Hockey Game

The beginning of October we went to one of Dave’s hockey games with Jen and Papa. I wasn’t sure how she would do since she likes to be free and crawl everywhere, but she really enjoyed herself.

Dave in the penalty box.

It was a great game. Although Dave’s team lost, Dave scored two points! Unfortunately he hurt his back and had a pinched nerve for the month of October. Needless to say, it was rough month.
