Wolf Creek

The end of October we went to Wolf Creek a couple weekends in a row. The first weekend we went for Alison’s spring break. It was a beautiful weekend! We played tennis, went on a hike and hung out like always. Madison really enjoyed being outside and hanging with my family.

The next weekend we had an Eppich gathering for all the college aged kids in Utah. The best thing about the trip was that Madison got to be around little kids. My cousin Ryan has three little kids that Madison adored! She chased them all around the condo. We also played Racquetball and ate lots of food. It is fun to renew our friendships with the cousins we don’t see very often. I am so grateful for family.

Madison's First Hockey Game

The beginning of October we went to one of Dave’s hockey games with Jen and Papa. I wasn’t sure how she would do since she likes to be free and crawl everywhere, but she really enjoyed herself.

Dave in the penalty box.

It was a great game. Although Dave’s team lost, Dave scored two points! Unfortunately he hurt his back and had a pinched nerve for the month of October. Needless to say, it was rough month.

BYU Fan

Madison experienced her first live BYU soccer game last Friday. She inherited an adorable BYU cheerleading outfit from her cousin Claire that Madison looked so cute in. Although BYU lost to Miami we still had lots of fun!

Swimming Fun

Last Saturday we went to Springville Pool to go swimming. We weren't sure how Madison would do because she doesn't always love baths. When we got in the pool she was in heaven; there was so many fun things to explore. She definitely got the Taylor gene for swimming; it seemed to be in her blood. We had a great time and I am sure we will go back soon.

Food Frenzy

We started feeding Madison rice cereal the end of July. She loved it! I think she was ready to eat solid food when she was 4 months old. She was always so interested in everything we were eating. Now she can't get enough. I am excited to start feeding her fruits and vegetables. However, I am not excited to start smelling it in her diaper. Here are some pictures from her first experience.

5 Months Already!

Madison is already 5 1/2 months! It seems like yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. She is such a feisty, fun, energetic, happy girl. She has now mastered the army crawl and can get anywhere that she wants to go. Her favorite things right now are computers, cell phones, remotes, drinking water from a big girl cup, talking loudly during church (especially prayers and the sacrament), eating rice cereal, and being the center of attention. She is definitively keeping us busy and we love her so much! Here are some pictures from the past month.
